Instead of swimming against the tide of an ocean of information, I’ll give you the guidance you need, when you need it, to help you take control of this busy and often stressful time.

While I can’t make your decisions for you, I can offer honest advice, experience-based suggestions, recommendations, tools, tips and resources to lighten your mental and emotional load.

There's no substitute for experience
There are lots of people out there helping potential expats. They may have lived in more countries than me; they may have more kids than me - or no kids; they may have all kinds of letters after their name. However, there is absolutely no substitute for experience - whether that's expat experience, parenting experience or life experience. I have the lot.
If you're up for speaking to someone who is rational, pragmatic and plain-speaking, get in touch!
'Fluff-free advice'. I'll be up-front and honest with you, always; sharing my insight and cutting through the fluff. I believe in efficiency, so promise that I won't drag out any programmes just for the sake of it. We all have busy lives and you have lots to organise.
I am unique, practical, full of real-life experience (so many experiences!) and several suitcases full of common-sense. My natural problem-solving abilities, independence and self-sufficiency will help you triumph at this busy, life-changing time.
Allow me to let my experience help your move and life abroad be a success.
Expat life isn't Insta-Perfect
Sugar-coating expat life doesn’t do anyone any favours at all. Yes, it's an incredible and fabulous lifestyle, it really is. However, I have seen too many bitterly disappointed people who just can't hack it as their expectations were coloured by the glossy experiences shared by many. Social media and blogs rarely tell the whole story of expat life.
Living abroad is not always as easy as many other expat websites and blogs may lead you to believe. I’m not saying it’s always hard, either, it’s not. It is brilliant! It just may not be what quite you expect. For one person, a certain country and lifestyle could be a dream come true; for another person, that same country and lifestyle is simply a nightmare.
Each and every person is different; you need different things in life; you have different hopes, dreams and needs. A cookie-cutter life simply does not exist. This is why you shouldn't choose a cookie-cutter adviser or consultant for your important decision making process.
Nobody could ever call me 'cookie-cutter'!

Getting to Know You
Quick, Free Introductory Chat
Not sure how I can help?
Let's get to know each other. Here's an option for a quick free introductory chat about your potential relocation.
15 minutes to discover more about each other.
We can chat about your expat ambitions, concerns and expectations and we can find out how we can work together to make your move abroad go as smoothly as possible.
If there is something I cannot help you with, I'll tell you. Integrity is what I stand for - I won't pretend to be able to help you if I truly can't.
It's hard and confusing enough having children in your home country, but when you're abroad it can be almost impossible to know where to start. Carole helped me navigate my children's needs and was filled with useful insights and resources for me.
When I came to move back home after 15 years abroad it was a real culture shock and unless you've been in that position nobody else can really see where you're coming from.
The world (your hometown or country) changes a lot in 15 years - imperceptible to those who've stayed - so I've loved reading the stories of others who've returned home.
